Conference and launch of the BiHMe platform

CIN – Center for Investigative Reporting is organizing a conference with the aim of publicly presenting the multiperspectivity and differences in people’s experiences during historical changes in these areas. This event coincides with the launch of the BiHMe platform that will present the BiHMe collection. 100 interviews about personal experiences with war and trauma will be presented.

Conference and launch of the CroMe platform

Documenta – Centre for Dealing with the Past is organizing a conference with the aim of publicly presenting the multiperspectivity and differences in people’s experiences during historical changes in these areas. This event coincides with the launch of the CroMe platform that will present the CroMe collection. The initial batch af around 100 interviews will be extend later with the full set of more than 400 interviews about personal experiences with war and trauma.

To mark the completion of the CroMe video-life stories project the Erasmus Studio wil organize an international multidisciplinary conference “Digital Testimonies on War and Trauma” at the Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, The Netherlands, from 12-14 June, 2013.

Development grant for Balkan Memories

The Erasmus Studio has been granted a fund from the The Hague Institute of Global Justice for a series of pilot projects to prepare for a large-scale multidiciplinary scholarly research initiative (working name: Balkan Memories) based on the oral histroy collections that are the envisaged outcome of the projects CroMe and BiHMe. The ultimate goal is to cover a range of disciplinary angles including the issue of how the impact of the ICTY and of local initiatives for restorative justice are being perceived in the region.
The pilots will be conducted in the second half of 2012 in close cooperation with Documenta (Zagreb) and other partners in the region.
